Sodium dichloroisocyanurate ( sodium troclosene, troclosenum natricum or NaDCC or SDIC) is a chemical compound widely used as a cleansing agent and disinfectant. It is a colorless, water-soluble solid, produced as a result of reaction of cyanuric acid with chlorine.
Sodium Dichloroisocyanurate can sterilize drinking water, swimming pool, tableware and air, fight against infectious diseases as routine disinfection, preventive disinfection and environmental sterilization in different places, act as disinfectant in raising silkworm, livestock, poultry and fish, and also can be used to prevent wool from shrinkage, bleach the textile and clean the industrial circulating water.
