Water Treatment Chemicals normally are used for Water Disinfection or its sanitization, which comes from the function of Disinfection Products, the major method of the water disinfection is the Water Treatment By Chlorine. On the other hand, there ahve been some important measures of chemical treatment applied like flocculation, neutralization or electrolysis etc.
As to disinfection agent under the scope of water treatment chemicals, we mainly refer them to Swimming Pool Chemicals and Hand Sanitizer etc. these chemicals would be used as biocide in water or for the Treatment Of Wastewater.


Sodium percarbonate is produced by the reaction of sodium carbonate with hydrogen peroxide, which can be done via dry, spray and wet processes. In the dry process aqueous hydrogen peroxide solution is sprayed on solid sodium carbonate; a solid-liquid reaction yields sodium percarbonate. In the spray process sodium percarbonate is produced by a fluid bed process. Solutions of sodium carbonate and hydrogen peroxide are sprayed into a drying chamber where the water is evaporated. In the wet process sodium percarbonate is usually prepared by crystallisation possibly in combination with salting out.

Sodium percarbonate, commonly known as solid hydrogen peroxide, is an addition compound of hydrogen peroxide and sodium carbonate, which produces oxygen, water and sodium carbonate after decomposition, and its effective active oxygen content is equivalent to 27.5% hydrogen peroxide. Sodium percarbonate not only has the function of liquid hydrogen peroxide, which rapidly decomposes and releases oxygen at a lower water temperature to achieve bleaching, decontamination, sterilization, odor removal and other functions, but also decomposes to generate carbonic acid at the same time.

When there is a fire, it can be extinguished with sand and various fire extinguishers. Sodium percarbonate is easy to decompose in light, dust irritates the mucous membrane, so should avoid light or long-term inhalation. After contact with skin, rinse with clean water. Gloves and dust masks should be worn when using or touching sodium carbonate in large quantities. to protect the eyes. protective measures; (1) Should be stored in a cool, dry warehouse, the temperature in the warehouse should be lower than 40 °C, avoid high temperature, pay attention to moisture. To keep away from fire and heat sources, do not be stored and mixed with reducing substances. (2) Protect from sun and rain during transportation. Handle with care when loading and unloading to prevent packaging damage. Packed in a plastic woven bag or wooden barrel lined with a two-layer polyethylene plastic bag, with a net weight of 25kg or 50kg. Should be stored in a cool, dry warehouse. The warehouse temperature should be below 40 °C to avoid high temperatures. Pay attention to moisture-proof, the packaging must be sealed. Keep away from heat and tinder. It cannot be stored and mixed with reducing substances. Protect from rain and sun during transportation. Handle with care when loading and unloading to prevent packaging damage.

4) Application:

It is used as a raw material for low phosphorus and phosphorus-free laundry detergent, as a rinsing agent and reducing color developer in the textile industry, and can also be used as a disinfection and deodorant alone. Milk preservatives (can be combined with lactoperoxidase/thiocyanates/peroxides to form raw milk preservatives). The general dosage is 50mg/kg, which can be kept fresh for 7~8h at 30 °C, and can be kept fresh for 5~6 days at 3~5 °C.
