Fire Fighting Procedures:

If material on fire or involved in fire: Extinguish fire using agent suitable for type of surrounding fire. (Material itself does not burn or burns with difficulty.) Use dry chemical, dry sand, or Carbon dioxide. Do not use water on material itself. If large quantities of combustibles are involved, use water in flooding quantities as spray and fog.

Descaling Agent: Sulfamic acid is a powerful descaling agent and is used for cleaning heat exchangers, boilers, cooling towers, and other equipment in the chemical and Petrochemical industries. It is preferred over other descaling agents due to its effectiveness and low corrosiveness.

Bleaching Agent: Sulfamic acid is used as a bleaching agent in the pulp and paper industry to improve the brightness and whiteness of paper. It is also used in the textile industry to remove stains and improve colorfastness.

Flame Retardant: Sulfamic acid is used as a flame retardant in the production of plastics and other materials. It prevents the spread of fire by releasing nitrogen gas, which dilutes the oxygen in the air.
